 Mathieu's wine of the month
We have added a new feature to the monthly e-newsletter, where Pied à Terre's Sommelier Mathieu will share his favourite wine of the month, available to purchase at Pied à Terre.
This month's featured wine is a Chambolle Musigny, A. Hudelot-Noellat 2006. Hudelot Noellat is a small estate in the Cote de Nuit specialising in traditional wine making, following the same procedures that have been used at the estate for generations to produce Village and Grand Cru wines. 2006 Chambolle Musigny has a good structure, with a base of red berries, spices and mocha perfumes. The palette is quite full bodied with ripe tannins and good acidity balance. This wine is best consumed between 2013 and 2020.
Available from Pied à Terre for the price of £355 per case of 12 bottles, which can be collected at the restaurant or delivered for an extra charge.

'The wish of the Witness' exhibition is taking place at Pied à Terre from 7 September – 31 October. Following an eight-month residency, Pied à Terre’s first
Artist in Restaurant, Elpida, will showcase 10 unique pieces of art that have been inspired from the day to day running of the restaurant, using materials some would usually perceive as waste to produce art that will soon accompany some of the greats already on display at the restaurant such as Peter Blake, Richard Hamilton and Howard Hodgkin.
During the exhibition you will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase one of these outstanding pieces of art. Diners and their guests are more than welcome to visit the restaurant each day between 3pm-6pm to view this showcase - it really is one not to be missed.
